Responsibilities
- Partner with designers, product managers, and engineers across teams to define and implement capabilities supporting the Structure product roadmap
- Clearly convey technical priorities and strategic direction to engineering and cross-functional leadership
- Advocate for strong technical standards while aligning with business objectives and constraints
- Develop, document, and test production-grade code that serves all platform users
- Engage in full-cycle engineering tasks including incident management, technical design reviews, code reviews, interviews, and feature releases
- Lead key initiatives that advance team and organizational goals
- Address complex technical problems within a high-scale platform used by a large user base
- Enhance team workflows in planning, development, and deployment to boost productivity
- Collaborate effectively with a geographically dispersed engineering team to solve challenging technical issues
- Contribute to engineering culture through activities like co-writing technical blogs, refining hiring practices, and organizing internal innovation events
- Guide, mentor, and motivate engineers at multiple career levels
