This position involves owning complex software systems, mentoring engineers, and driving technical excellence across the development lifecycle while contributing to a platform that streamlines veterinary supply management.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of robust, maintainable software systems
- Collaborate with product and design teams to define technical requirements
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Drive best practices in testing, reliability, and system observability
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve system performance
- Own end-to-end delivery of critical features and services
- Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term technical strategy
- Troubleshoot and resolve high-impact production issues
- Ensure code quality through automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
- Promote reusability and consistency across engineering projects
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in a technical discipline
- Experience in SaaS or B2B enterprise platforms
- Background in procurement, supply chain, or inventory systems
- Leadership experience in agile development environments
