We're looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer to contribute to the development of robust, user-focused fintech applications. You'll play a key role in designing and delivering software that powers seamless shopping experiences, working across both frontend and backend systems.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate within a cross-functional team to design, implement, and test new features
- Support the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment
- Assess and integrate tools and practices to improve code quality and system performance
- Contribute to backend services and single-page applications using modern frameworks
- Ensure development efforts align with project timelines and technical standards
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience building single page applications and backend APIs
- Familiarity with relational databases and data retrieval techniques
- Understanding of software development methodologies, version control, and release workflows
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Technology Environment
You'll work with a modern stack including Golang, React, React Native, and TypeScript for frontend development, backed by Python and databases like MySQL and Postgres. Infrastructure leverages AWS, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Loki, and Prometheus. Testing at all levels—unit, integration, and end-to-end—is a core part of our process.

Compensation & Work Environment
This is a local position based in Mexico, with a monthly gross salary range of $1,500 to $2,700 USD.
