About the Role

Responsibilities
- Design and implement security protocols to protect user data and system integrity
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate safety features into core product functions
- Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for new and existing systems
- Identify, analyze, and resolve security vulnerabilities across the software stack
- Develop automated tools to detect and prevent malicious activity
- Support incident response efforts related to security breaches or safety concerns
- Advocate for secure coding practices across development teams
- Evaluate third-party libraries and dependencies for security risks
- Create and maintain documentation for security standards and procedures
- Work closely with product and design teams to balance usability and safety
- Stay current with emerging threats and advancements in cybersecurity
- Lead code reviews with a focus on security best practices
- Contribute to the development of policies governing data access and privacy
- Mentor engineers on security principles and defensive programming techniques
- Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations and industry standards
