What You’ll Do
- Design and build end-to-end AI-assisted features for workflow creation, editing, and intelligent suggestions
- Structure context for language models using workflow state, user goals, constraints, and interaction history
- Develop agent behaviors that call internal tools, validate responses, handle errors, and recover gracefully
- Define and implement evaluation frameworks to measure and improve the quality of AI-generated outputs
- Run fast experiments, analyze results, and iterate quickly to deliver measurable improvements
- Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to refine the user experience of AI assistance
- Stay informed about advancements in LLMs and integrate practical innovations into the product
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of experience building web-based SaaS or developer tools
- Strong fullstack skills in TypeScript, Node.js, and API design
- Proven experience shipping AI-powered features in production environments
- Hands-on work with tool-using AI systems—such as coding agents, copilots, or multi-step orchestration pipelines
- Deep understanding of prompt engineering, context optimization, and managing failure modes in LLM applications
- Experience building or applying evaluation systems for AI outputs, including benchmarks, scoring, and regression testing
- A focus on user outcomes and a track record of delivering practical, usable AI features
- Ability to move quickly, learn from data, and continuously improve through iteration
Preferred Experience
- Building tools that generate code, workflows, or structured data (e.g., SQL, config, DSLs)
- Familiarity with agent orchestration, state machines, or DAG-based execution systems
- Experience with AI observability: debugging, tracing, test harnesses, and monitoring for LLM systems
- Contributions to open-source AI tooling in areas like evaluation, prompt management, or orchestration
- Working knowledge of RAG systems and retrieval strategies
