Responsibilities
- Lead reliability assessments and partner with design teams to ensure product designs meet required reliability standards.
- Collaborate with design teams and clients to establish clear reliability criteria for products.
- Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to resolve design-related reliability concerns.
- Develop and execute reliability testing strategies and detailed test plans.
- Perform stress-based MTBF calculations to deliver early-stage reliability estimates.
- Manage external testing efforts for performance and regulatory compliance.
- Instruct manufacturing partners on proper execution of reliability testing procedures.
- Carry out root cause failure investigations and produce detailed failure analysis reports.
- Provide design improvement recommendations using data from run-to-failure and stress-versus-strength evaluations.
- Work closely with engineering teams to refine or create new durability testing methods for faster product development.
- Use analytical and troubleshooting techniques to investigate and resolve failure events.
- Lead FMEA processes for chassis- and rack-level systems (L10/L11), aligning inputs from design teams and stakeholders to meet customer specifications.
