Neon Pagamentos is hiring a Staff Data Scientist to join our Credit & Data platform. Your primary focus will be on developing and enhancing Card Acquisition Models that are critical to our business.
What You'll Do
- Build, deploy, and maintain production-grade machine learning models for card acquisition.
- Design and execute experiments to improve model performance and business impact.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams to integrate models into our platform.
- Lead the end-to-end model lifecycle from research and prototyping to monitoring and iteration.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to other data scientists on the team.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive professional experience as a Data Scientist, with a proven track record in credit risk or acquisition modeling.
- Deep expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and experimental design.
- Strong proficiency with data science tools and programming languages like Python and SQL.
- Experience with the full model development lifecycle in a production environment.
- Excellent communication skills to translate complex findings into actionable business insights.
