As a Solution Architect Specialist, you will play a central role in shaping and deploying security solutions that protect critical systems, data, and infrastructure. Reporting to the Lead Security Architect, you will translate the organization’s security strategy into actionable technical designs, ensuring resilience across both cloud and on-prem environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver security solutions that support enterprise-wide projects, with a focus on integration, scalability, and compliance.
- Collaborate with project managers to define timelines, resource needs, and execution plans for security initiatives.
- Ensure security projects are completed within scope, on schedule, and aligned with budget requirements.
- Work closely with information security teams to maintain a strong security posture and support long-term strategic goals.
- Translate business and functional requirements into secure, efficient technical architectures.
- Produce detailed architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation roadmaps.
- Stay current with evolving threats, technologies, and industry standards to inform solution design.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated experience designing and deploying security solutions in large-scale, hybrid environments including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized systems.
- Strong grasp of information security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, GDPR, and MITRE ATT&CK.
- Proven ability to develop secure architectures that balance technical requirements with business objectives.
- Familiarity with risk management practices and regulatory compliance standards.
- Basic project management capabilities, with experience coordinating technical teams and tracking deliverables.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-evolving environment.
Preferred Expertise
- Advanced knowledge of cloud security models and tools on one or more major platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with containerization technologies and securing containerized workloads.
Work Environment
