As a Solution Architect Specialist, you will play a central role in shaping and deploying security initiatives that safeguard critical systems and data. Reporting to the Lead Security Architect, you will translate strategic security objectives into actionable technical designs, ensuring alignment across the Information Security department and broader business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement security solutions that support the organization’s long-term information security strategy
- Collaborate with project managers to define timelines, resource needs, and execution plans, ensuring projects remain on schedule, within scope, and on budget
- Collect business and technical requirements to develop secure, scalable, and integrated solutions
- Ensure seamless integration of security applications and initiatives across on-premises, cloud, and containerized environments
- Produce detailed architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and implementation roadmaps
- Support cross-functional teams in delivering security projects with a focus on risk reduction and compliance
Qualifications and Experience
You bring a strong foundation in information security principles and solution architecture, with proven experience designing and deploying security systems in complex, large-scale environments. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as containerization technologies, is highly beneficial.
- Deep knowledge of security frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, GDPR, and MITRE ATT&CK
- Experience developing technical architectures and implementation plans for security initiatives
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management practices
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to evolving demands
