Shape enterprise transformation through open-source innovation
In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers across Germany, helping them navigate complex technology challenges and identify opportunities where open-source solutions can drive real business value. You’ll work closely with sales teams to understand customer environments, assess IT landscapes, and recommend tailored approaches using Red Hat’s portfolio of technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical pre-sales expertise to support the design and adoption of enterprise-grade solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to uncover business drivers and align them with appropriate technology strategies
- Contribute to account planning by identifying customer initiatives and shaping solution roadmaps
- Respond to technical inquiries in RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs with clear, accurate, and customer-focused insights
- Develop strong relationships with C-level executives and technical leaders, including internal advocates within client organizations
- Represent Red Hat at industry events, through thought leadership content, and in technical discussions that influence architectural decisions
- Share expertise via blogs, publications, podcasts, or speaking engagements to strengthen technical credibility
What You Bring
- A strong commitment to open-source principles and community-driven innovation
- Proven experience in enterprise architecture, particularly in multi-tiered systems, cloud-native design, microservices, AI/ML workflows, MLOps, or security frameworks including SELinux and application-level protections
- Fluency in both English and German, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
- Willingness to travel regionally in line with company policy
Preferred Background
- Hands-on involvement in open-source projects or communities
- Prior experience in customer-facing technical roles such as pre-sales or solutions consulting
- At least two years of experience designing enterprise application architectures
- Ability to lead technical conversations and influence architecture decisions at the design stage
