As a Junior Software Test Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering robust software for advanced agricultural robotics. Working within a cross-functional Scrum team, you’ll design and run test cases to verify both new and existing features, helping to maintain high standards of performance and usability in real-world conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and carry out test plans for software features, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and system behavior.
- Collaborate with other test engineers to evaluate testing strategies and refine approaches based on results.
- Apply methodologies such as risk-based and integration testing to prioritize critical areas and improve efficiency.
- Interpret test outcomes and report issues clearly to developers, supporting fast resolution and continuous improvement.
- Help enhance overall product quality by contributing insights during development cycles.
- Build a deep understanding of robotic systems and how embedded software interacts with hardware components.
Qualifications
You bring a practical mindset and a solid foundation in software testing. A technical background is beneficial, and hands-on experience from internships or academic projects is valued. Familiarity with embedded systems is essential, along with structured thinking and clear communication skills in English. Experience with Agile environments or robotics is a bonus, but not required.
