This role focuses on enabling sustained customer success through expert technical support and service delivery across digital platforms. Based in Nydalen, Oslo, the Software Support Engineer will provide hands-on assistance for both cloud-hosted and on-premise systems, ensuring optimal functionality, integration, and performance for enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve advanced technical issues affecting software performance, system connectivity, data flow, and platform integration.
- Deliver clear, actionable guidance to customers experiencing configuration, interface, or communication challenges, fostering trust and long-term relationships.
- Apply established methodologies and technical expertise to solve problems efficiently, escalating when necessary and collaborating with senior engineers.
- Participate in on-call rotations to maintain reliable 24/7 support coverage and ensure timely responses to critical incidents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share insights, improve support processes, and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Support team objectives by understanding how individual contributions align with broader goals and assisting colleagues in resolving complex cases.
- Provide in-person technical support at the Nydalen location, ensuring rapid response and high-impact resolution where needed.
Required Qualifications
- Background in digital customer support engineering, with knowledge equivalent to a bachelor’s degree or through substantial hands-on experience.
- Proven experience troubleshooting software, connectivity, and system integration issues, particularly within EMS environments.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to document issues clearly, plan support actions, and execute solutions effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with modern development and deployment tools such as Docker, Jenkins, GitHub, Kubernetes, or Oracle.
- Experience with e-terra or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and master specialized digital platforms.
