As a Software Engineer on the Install-Ready Design team, you'll play a key role in developing backend systems that power cutting-edge solar installation solutions. Your work will directly impact the reliability and precision of a leading platform used to design solar projects, helping accelerate the global shift to clean energy.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement new features that improve the performance and accuracy of our core design platform
- Collaborate with partners across the solar industry to optimize end-to-end project workflows
- Build and maintain scalable services that support critical functionality
- Help launch new products from the ground up, contributing to architecture and implementation
- Support production systems through shared on-call responsibilities
What We're Looking For
- At least two years of professional software development experience
- Strong foundation in computer science and experience writing clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, Golang, or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Proven ability to work effectively in team environments, especially in remote or hybrid settings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Adaptability in a fast-evolving product and technical landscape
Nice to Have
- Interest in renewable energy and sustainability
- Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
- Familiarity with Spring Framework, Jackson, JPA, HTTP, SQL, MySQL/MariaDB, Git, Gradle, or AWS
