Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and deployment of highly available and fault-tolerant network architectures within data centers.
- Design and execute strategies to continuously enhance network infrastructure performance and reliability.
- Create and evaluate configuration templates for large-scale provisioning of network devices in data center environments.
- Support the formulation of the organization's long-term strategic direction for networking.
- Lead capacity planning efforts by predicting future network demands and proposing scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Review high-level and low-level design diagrams as part of solution evaluation and validation.
- Remain current with advancements and trends in networking technologies and industry practices.
- Assess and suggest new technologies to increase network efficiency and expand capabilities.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network operations engineers.
- Facilitate and engage in knowledge transfer activities to strengthen team expertise.
- Serve as the lead during on-call rotations and act as the escalation point for resolving complex network incidents and outages.
- Develop and maintain structured incident response procedures and operational playbooks.
- Work with vendors to assess and integrate emerging technologies and network solutions.
- Oversee vendor relationships to ensure high-quality support and service delivery.
