As a Senior Network Engineer, you will lead the architecture, automation, and security of a global network infrastructure that powers advanced cloud, AI, and automation initiatives. Your work will ensure high availability and performance across a distributed network of over 50 offices and data centers, supporting mission-critical operations in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade network systems across on-premises and cloud platforms, with deep focus on AWS and Azure networking services including VPC, Transit Gateway, and ExpressRoute
- Develop and deploy infrastructure automation using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Python to streamline provisioning, configuration, and change management
- Enable cloud-native networking through integration with Kubernetes, container platforms, and service mesh technologies
- Apply AI and machine learning techniques to enhance network monitoring, detect anomalies, predict issues, and optimize performance
- Manage advanced security infrastructure, including next-gen firewalls, zero-trust frameworks, SD-WAN, and secure remote access via VPNs
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal security standards through rigorous configuration and policy enforcement
- Provide expert-level technical support and serve in an on-call rotation to maintain system reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share knowledge, improve practices, and align infrastructure with business goals
- Document network configurations, update operational policies, and contribute to enterprise-wide standards
- Stay current with emerging technologies through continuous learning and professional development
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in designing and supporting large-scale, global network environments
- At least 5 years managing cloud networking solutions in AWS or Azure
- Deep expertise in routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF), wireless (Aruba), firewalls (FortiGate), SD-WAN, load balancing (F5), and network access control (802.1x, NAC)
- Proven experience with automation frameworks (Ansible, Terraform), scripting (Python), and API integration
- Familiarity with cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, containers, and microservices
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams
Preferred:
- Experience with AI/ML-driven network analytics or security platforms
- Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Microsoft Azure Network Engineer, CCNA/CCNP, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator
Work Environment
This role operates in a hybrid model, supporting a network of remote offices and data centers. While some presence may be required, the structure allows flexibility, including participation in an on-call rotation for critical systems.
