About the Role
This position is responsible for leading the architecture, deployment, and optimization of wired network infrastructure and Cisco SD-WAN environments across multiple regions, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable wired network topologies for data centers and office locations
- Lead deployment and configuration of Cisco SD-WAN solutions
- Develop network standards and configuration templates
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce network access controls
- Troubleshoot complex network issues across multi-vendor environments
- Support network automation and orchestration initiatives
- Perform capacity planning and performance monitoring
- Document network architecture and change management procedures
- Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements
- Integrate network infrastructure with cloud platforms
- Manage firmware and software upgrades across network devices
- Optimize routing protocols for reliability and speed
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Evaluate emerging networking technologies for adoption
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware and support logistics
- Provide technical leadership during network migrations
- Assist in defining network monitoring strategies
- Maintain accurate network inventory and diagrams
- Enforce segmentation and VLAN strategies
- Support zero-trust network initiatives
- Deliver post-implementation reviews and performance reports
