Responsibilities
- Oversee customer and operational performance at the assigned terminal.
- Align with ocean, feeder, regional customer experience, delivery, global service partners, and terminal teams to meet contractual service commitments.
- Take full accountability for port complex efficiency, including towage, pilots, agents, and terminal operations, while strengthening relationships to enhance value and reduce service costs.
- Lead short-term execution planning (2–4 weeks) and medium-term design planning (up to 3 months) across teams to secure customer delivery outcomes and asset readiness.
- Develop and manage yard and gate strategies with regional and fulfillment teams to maintain smooth cargo flow and terminal efficiency.
- Ensure assets are turned around and connected according to technical specifications.
- Identify root causes of operational deviations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- During disruptions such as port closures, labor strikes, or vessel and cargo incidents, engage in crisis management teams and lead local coordination with agents, authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Analyze customer pain points and touchpoint experiences across the port complex, collaborating with internal and external parties to drive service improvements.
- Support regional business planning by identifying growth opportunities in partnership with terminal operators.
