Health Care Informed is seeking a Senior / Staff Software Engineer to be a foundational member of the team building a new AI-driven healthcare compliance product. You will have significant ownership and impact, with a clear path to Principal-level responsibility, in work that directly improves patient safety and empowers healthcare professionals.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop a scalable platform.
- Partner with peers to make high-level decisions on backend and frontend frameworks, DevOps processes, and scalability patterns.
- Contribute to existing AI-driven features by improving them, troubleshooting issues, and designing new capabilities.
- Keep patient safety and healthcare provider needs top of mind to propose high-impact solutions.
- Take features from concept to production, ensuring code quality, testing coverage, reliability, and observability.
- Guide less experienced engineers, provide feedback, and help cultivate an environment of continuous learning.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of industry experience with a proven track record in software engineering delivering value to customers.
- Experience building scalable APIs and event-driven architectures.
- Excellent communication and ability to collaborate effectively.
- Curiosity and ownership, with a desire to propose new ideas and drive continuous improvement.
Nice to Have
- Strong backend & frontend skills with C# & React.
- Cloud experience, ideally Azure, but AWS or GCP experience is also valued.
- Experience solving team- or group-level challenges.
