As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll take ownership of complex technical challenges, from architecture through deployment, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
What You’ll Do
- Develop robust, test-covered code for distributed systems, translating business needs into modular, reusable designs.
- Lead code and design reviews to uphold engineering standards and promote consistent quality across services.
- Guide agile teams through sprint execution, removing obstacles and ensuring timely delivery of reliable features.
- Collaborate across disciplines to align technical implementation with business goals and user needs.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering technical growth and a culture of continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience, including 2+ years with technologies relevant to our stack.
- Proven experience leading and coaching engineering teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Extensive experience with Java, Spring Boot, and building RESTful microservices.
- Hands-on work with MongoDB and other NoSQL or relational databases.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures using Kafka, SQS, or Camel.
- Experience using AI-assisted tools within IDEs like IntelliJ or VS Code.
Technology Environment
We work with Java, Python, Go, and JavaScript, leveraging Spring Boot, gRPC, REST APIs, and microservices patterns. Our infrastructure runs on AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure, orchestrated with Docker and Kubernetes. We integrate Apache Kafka, NiFi, and caching solutions to build responsive, resilient systems.

- Base salary range: USD $94,458 – $179,048 per year, adjusted by location
