As a Senior Software Engineer on the Docs Engineering team, you will play a key role in shaping the platforms and pipelines that power technical documentation across a broad ecosystem. Your work will directly influence how developers access, interact with, and understand complex technical content, ensuring clarity, consistency, and performance at scale.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain software systems that connect content authoring with global delivery infrastructure
- Work across multiple programming languages and frameworks, with a strong focus on C# and .NET
- Integrate AI-assisted development tools into daily workflows to accelerate coding, testing, and deployment
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to turn business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions
- Champion usability and developer experience in every layer of the documentation platform
- Help evolve the future of technical writing through automation, intelligent tooling, and modern engineering practices
What We’re Looking For
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience developing and supporting software for large-scale audiences
- Proficiency in C# and familiarity with .NET environments
- Experience using AI-powered coding assistants and a willingness to push their use further
- Solid grasp of distributed systems, software architecture, and deployment patterns
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently within a remote, global team
