Responsibilities
- Design and implement new front-end features and interactive components, including JavaScript functions for external integration.
- Maintain high standards of code quality across all deliverables within the development team.
- Engage in cross-functional reviews to ensure product and service excellence.
- Guide and support junior engineers through mentorship and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate within a self-managing SCRUM team to build features for high-traffic betting platforms.
- Create modular, scalable, and maintainable software architectures.
- Partner with Product Owners and designers to deliver intuitive user experiences.
- Identify and act on opportunities to improve UI performance and reduce code complexity.
- Demonstrate strong grasp of system architecture and design, including defining key performance indicators.
- Assist leadership in driving quality improvements across development processes.
- Ensure team-wide clarity on front-end architectural standards and design patterns in alignment with product goals.

The Goal
- Seeking a Senior React Engineer to build next-generation online sports betting platforms.
- The product and engineering teams continuously evolve the Sportsbook offering to keep global clients ahead of market trends.
- Engineers will work with advanced technologies on highly available, high-volume transaction systems, supported by training and internal growth opportunities in a promote-from-within culture.
The Player
- Minimum of four years of professional experience in large-scale commercial web application development.
- Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and modern web markup standards.
- Experience with server-side CSS preprocessors such as LESS and JSS.
- Proficient in client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks.
- Skilled in handling asynchronous requests and partial page updates using RESTful/JSON, SOAP, HTTP, and related services.
- Deep working knowledge of ReactJS/Redux and at least one additional advanced JavaScript framework like AngularJS, KnockoutJS, or BackboneJS.
- Solid understanding of responsive and adaptive web design principles and UX best practices.
- Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and their implementation in web applications.
- Excellent communication abilities, including presenting technical concepts to peer groups.
- Strong collaboration skills, with experience leading small teams or stepping into interim leadership roles.
It would also be great to see these skills/experiences as well:
- Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, and ORM tools such as JPA2 or Hibernate.
- Working knowledge of Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, and Git (Stash).
- Experience in LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) development.
- Hands-on experience with React Native.
- Experience using the Webdriver.io test automation framework.
- Knowledge of Drupal 8 or other PHP-based CMS platforms.
- Exposure to test-driven or behavior-driven development (TDD/BDD).
- Scripting proficiency in Bash, Perl, Python, or JavaScript.
