Premier Healthcare Solutions, Inc. is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to develop information systems by designing, building, and installing software solutions. You will break down high-level requirements, provide technical direction, and play a key role in mentoring and overseeing other engineers.
What You'll Do
- Develop software solutions by analyzing user needs, studying system workflows, and following the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with business analysts and the development team to understand requirements and plan the approach for coding and data.
- Provide direction to Associate and Software Engineers, and work with Security and cross-functional teams to deliver appropriate solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on applications and data, providing ad-hoc reporting, mentorship, and priority guidance.
- Work on all stories within a sprint, taking technical direction from the lead or architect.
- Continuously update your skills by learning new development tools, programming techniques, and participating in educational opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- 4 or more years of applicable software development experience.
- A Bachelor's degree is required.
Nice to Have
- Cross-platform application development experience.
- Proficiency with JAVA, React JS, React Native, or similar frameworks.
- Skills in SQL, query tools, and PHP.
- Experience developing with Docker.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational database concepts.
- Familiarity with automated provisioning, deployment pipelines, and other DevOps tooling.
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience.
Technical Stack
- Web Applications, ETL Processes, Database technologies (Both Relational and non-Relational)
- JAVA, React JS, React Native, SQL, PHP, Docker
Team & Environment
Takes direction from lead/architect, oversees and mentors lower-level software engineers.
