Responsibilities
- Serve as a bridge between leadership and development teams, guiding feasibility assessments and architectural planning.
- Work closely with cross-functional groups including Product and PMO to define and refine business requirements for effective technical solutions.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of business domains, systems, and service offerings through detailed modeling and analysis.
- Evaluate and recommend optimal solutions using licensed software, open-source tools, or custom development based on business needs.
- Balance technical authority with inclusive decision-making to support team-driven engineering outcomes.
- Establish feedback mechanisms with engineering and business stakeholders to identify system limitations and prioritize improvements.
- Partner with systems engineering to align delivery strategies with design standards and implementation realities.
- Engage early in product discovery to assess requirements, evaluate feasibility, and guide implementation constraints.
- Define and uphold architectural standards that ensure security, regulatory compliance, and operational reliability.
- Support development teams through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge transfer to advance team capabilities.
- Take part in architectural design reviews that encourage open, constructive discussion and collaborative problem-solving.
- Promote engineering excellence by advocating for practices such as automated testing, continuous integration, and change control.
- Help shape testing strategy, choose testing tools, and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Detect development challenges early and implement preventive measures to reduce future system issues.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement through feedback and learning initiatives.
