Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development of publication plans and medical education materials tailored to regional needs and stakeholder requirements.
- Collaborate with medical and scientific teams to produce content that supports healthcare professional engagement and educational goals.
- Mentor junior scientific writers, fostering professional growth and strengthening team capabilities in medical communication.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and external partners, to align content with scientific strategy.
- Oversee vendor coordination to ensure timely, compliant delivery of projects within established timelines.
- Conduct analysis of publication needs and contribute to annual planning aligned with regional objectives.
- Maintain deep expertise in assigned therapeutic areas and support cross-functional teams with accurate, impactful scientific messaging.
Qualifications and Skills
- Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related medical field.
- Minimum of four years of experience in scientific or medical writing within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or academic sector.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently while collaborating effectively in cross-regional teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- Experience in publication planning, medical communications, and project management across therapeutic domains.
- Familiarity with submission processes and regulatory standards for scientific content.
