About the Role

Drive financial strategy and performance in a collaborative, values-led environment. As a Finance Business Partner, you'll act as a key advisor to senior stakeholders, translating financial data into actionable insights that support both immediate objectives and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring financial plans reflect realistic commercial assumptions and strategic priorities.
  • Deliver accurate monthly reporting and forward-looking forecasts, identifying risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.
  • Own the group P&L process, providing detailed commentary and challenging performance assumptions to improve outcomes.
  • Analyse key financial drivers including realisation, staffing ratios, and working capital to enhance profitability.
  • Partner with business leaders and business development teams on client proposals, pricing strategies, and portfolio reviews.
  • Develop scenario models and business cases to guide strategic decisions, such as partner recruitment and resource planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial issues, improve processes, and support workforce planning.
  • Champion continuous improvement in financial reporting and modelling practices.

Qualifications and Skills

You should be ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified with solid experience in a financial business partnering role, preferably within professional services. You bring strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and the confidence to engage constructively with senior stakeholders.

Proficiency in Microsoft reporting and analysis tools is essential. You must balance attention to detail with a strategic mindset, and demonstrate resilience, collaboration, and a commitment to ethical and inclusive practices.

Work Environment and Benefits

This is a hybrid role with a minimum of two office days per week in Manchester, London, or Guildford. You'll benefit from flexible working, structured development programmes, mentoring, and internal mobility opportunities.

The organisation fosters a diverse, inclusive culture focused on wellbeing, professional growth, and responsible operations. Benefits include life assurance from day one, season ticket loans, lifestyle discounts, an annual Wellbeing Day, and access to a 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme.

Operating with integrity, the firm promotes fairness, celebrates diversity, and actively prohibits discrimination. It supports pro bono initiatives, charitable partnerships, and environmental responsibility, with commitments aligned to the SBTi Net-Zero standard and ambitious emissions reduction goals.
