About the Role
This role involves guiding Agile teams through sprint planning, backlog refinement, and continuous improvement while ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and federal project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and review meetings
- Collaborate with product owners to maintain prioritized backlogs
- Remove impediments to ensure team productivity
- Coach team members on Agile methodologies and best practices
- Track and report sprint progress and team velocity
- Support continuous process improvement across Agile workflows
- Work closely with cross-functional teams on delivery timelines
- Ensure adherence to federal compliance and security standards
- Promote self-organization and accountability within Agile teams
- Manage risks and dependencies impacting sprint goals
- Serve as liaison between technical teams and stakeholders
- Maintain transparency in team performance metrics
- Support release planning and coordination activities
- Foster a culture of collaboration and Agile maturity
- Ensure ceremonies are conducted effectively and on schedule
- Assist in defining user stories and acceptance criteria
- Monitor team health and address conflicts proactively
- Drive adoption of Agile tools and platforms
- Support distributed team collaboration in remote environments
- Encourage innovation and feedback loops within sprints
- Align Agile practices with federal project governance
- Participate in Agile community of practice initiatives
- Mentor junior Scrum Masters or team members
- Contribute to scaling Agile frameworks across programs
- Ensure documentation meets federal audit requirements
