As a Senior RF+Electronics Design Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of compact, low-power RF embedded systems used in monitoring technology. Your work will span the full product lifecycle—from concept through testing and certification—ensuring robust performance and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the RF and hardware design of embedded systems, focusing on reliability and manufacturability.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve design challenges early in the process.
- Evaluate third-party tools and software to improve development efficiency and system performance.
- Support rapid product commercialization by aligning design with production requirements.
- Develop and document novel technical solutions, ensuring intellectual property is secured and traceable.
- Stay current with advancements in RF, microcontroller, and wireless technologies relevant to product evolution.
- Ensure complete design documentation, version control, and traceability across projects.
- Verify designs meet all functional, performance, and regulatory specifications prior to approval.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance to manufacturing and operations teams during production ramp-up.
- Deliver regular progress reports with accurate time and effort estimates for ongoing tasks.
Qualifications
Required:
- Proven expertise in electronic and hardware design for embedded systems.
- Minimum of five years in low-power, microcontroller-based wireless product development.
- Working knowledge of firmware integration and embedded system behavior.
- Extensive experience with Altium Designer for schematic and layout work.
- Strong applied RF design background in commercial products.
- Familiarity with RF simulation and analysis tools.
Preferred:
- Experience improving hardware development workflows.
- Embedded C programming skills.
- Background in high-volume consumer or industrial electronics.
- Demonstrated success in RF design projects.
