As a Senior QA Engineer, you will take ownership of quality assurance across development projects, ensuring robust, scalable, and reliable software delivery. You'll develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, with a strong focus on JavaScript and TypeScript-based environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, write, and manage automated test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of web applications
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and support teams to understand functional requirements and translate them into effective test strategies
- Review business and technical documentation to build detailed test plans and validate system behavior
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and potential defects before release
- Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testing seamlessly into deployment workflows
- Advocate for QA best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing standards
- Coordinate testing schedules and priorities across multiple teams, working independently with minimal oversight
What You’ll Need
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance, particularly in test automation and CI/CD integration
- Proven experience writing and maintaining automated tests with Playwright
- Solid understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript ecosystems
- Familiarity with GitLab CI or similar CI tools
- Experience conducting API testing using industry-standard tools
- Background in Agile development environments
- Strong communication skills in both Polish and English
