Shape quality from the ground up as a key contributor in a fast-moving startup building an AI-native enterprise platform. As the QA Automation Engineer, you'll define and drive the entire quality strategy, ensuring robustness across every release.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement comprehensive test automation strategies that align with product milestones and development cycles
- Develop and maintain reliable end-to-end test suites for both API and UI layers using modern tools like Playwright
- Embed automated testing into CI/CD workflows to support continuous integration and rapid deployment
- Ensure high confidence in production releases through scalable, maintainable automation frameworks
- Conduct targeted manual testing when needed, especially for new features and critical fixes
- Collaborate directly with software engineers, product managers, and platform teams to integrate quality practices early and often
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience automating tests for enterprise web applications using tools such as Playwright
- Strong background in API testing and validating multi-service interactions
- Ability to work independently as the primary QA owner while thriving in a high-velocity environment
- Comfort leading quality initiatives within a senior engineering team
- Familiarity with TypeScript and contributing to shared codebases
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, especially AWS, and experience working in CI/CD environments
- Clear communication skills for documenting processes and working across functions
- Interest in testing AI-driven features or applying AI techniques to improve test efficiency
