About the Role
The Senior QA Automation Engineer will design, build, and maintain automated test suites to support continuous integration and delivery. This role ensures software reliability through robust testing strategies and close collaboration with development and product teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for web and API applications
- Design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Identify, report, and track software defects
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements
- Ensure test coverage aligns with user workflows and business logic
- Perform manual testing when necessary
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects
- Optimize test execution speed and reliability
- Maintain detailed documentation of test cases and results
- Monitor production behavior and support post-release validation
- Contribute to quality assurance best practices
- Evaluate new testing tools and methodologies
- Support performance and regression testing initiatives
- Ensure compliance with accessibility and security standards
