About the Role
The individual in this position will manage the end-to-end proposal process, working closely with subject matter experts to deliver high-quality submissions that meet client specifications and drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and submission of complex, compliant proposals in response to client requests
- Coordinate input from multiple departments to ensure accurate and timely content delivery
- Develop and maintain proposal templates, reuse libraries, and standard language
- Ensure adherence to deadlines, formatting guidelines, and compliance standards
- Review draft materials for clarity, consistency, and alignment with client needs
- Collaborate with sales and project teams to understand scope and value proposition
- Track and report on proposal metrics, including win rates and submission volume
- Identify opportunities to improve proposal processes and workflows
- Support knowledge management by archiving completed proposals and key documents
- Participate in post-submission debriefs to assess performance and lessons learned
- Stay current on industry trends and client requirements affecting proposal content
- Manage multiple assignments simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Ensure branding and messaging consistency across all proposal materials
- Conduct quality assurance checks before final submission
- Assist in the training of team members on proposal best practices
- Leverage technology tools to streamline content development and collaboration
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business and client information
- Support special projects related to business development initiatives
- Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory alignment
- Provide input on client-specific requirements and risk factors
- Facilitate internal review sessions for proposal drafts
- Optimize content for readability and persuasive impact
- Monitor changes in client RFP formats and expectations
