Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle development of aerospace test equipment
- Coordinate cross-functional engineering teams to meet project goals
- Develop system architectures and integration strategies
- Translate customer requirements into technical designs
- Oversee design validation and testing protocols
- Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Interface with clients to clarify technical expectations
- Conduct design reviews and risk assessments
- Support manufacturing and assembly processes
- Troubleshoot technical issues during integration
- Maintain documentation for system designs and changes
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols
- Drive continuous improvement in test system performance
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers
- Participate in proposal and bid activities
- Monitor project performance against milestones
- Implement configuration management practices
- Support certification and qualification efforts
- Ensure electromagnetic compatibility in system designs
- Integrate hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical subsystems
- Apply model-based systems engineering principles
- Utilize simulation tools for system validation
- Prepare and present technical reports
