As the Senior Product Manager for Android MDM, you will shape the future of Android device management within a cloud-first, cross-platform identity and security ecosystem. Your work will ensure Android endpoints are seamlessly integrated into a unified access and compliance framework, treating each device as an extension of user identity.
What You'll Do
- Define and execute the product roadmap for Android management, ensuring consistency and intuitive administration across operating systems.
- Integrate device compliance signals—such as encryption status and security posture—into Conditional Access workflows to influence resource access decisions.
- Own the full lifecycle of Android devices, from initial provisioning via Zero-Touch enrollment to automated deprovisioning driven by identity events and directory changes.
- Develop software distribution capabilities that enable administrators to deploy both public and internal apps through the Managed Google Play Store.
- Create policy frameworks for both Work Profile and Fully Managed device configurations, enforcing security requirements like mandatory multi-factor authentication and full-disk encryption.
- Collaborate with identity and directory teams to enable dynamic device grouping and management based on user attributes, supporting Attribute-Based Access Control models.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years in product management, with at least 3 years focused on Unified Endpoint Management, MDM, or related enterprise mobility solutions.
- Deep technical understanding of Android Enterprise, including enrollment methods, Device Policy Controllers, and Work Profile implementation.
- Experience building products that integrate within broader SaaS, identity, or directory ecosystems.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust principles and the role of device health in access decisioning.
- Proven track record of leveraging customer insights and directory data to prioritize and deliver product features in agile environments.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
