Shape the future of engineering productivity by leading the AI strategy that powers thousands of developers. In this role, you'll define the platform roadmap, align technical leadership, and drive the tools and practices that accelerate how software is built across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Partner with engineering leaders to define the vision for AI in software development, prioritizing platform investments and building the business case for scalable tooling.
- Stay embedded in the engineering community through regular office hours, roundtables, and direct engagement to understand pain points and build trust.
- Break down adoption barriers by identifying inefficiencies in the development lifecycle, shipping targeted solutions, and creating accessible resources and training.
- Establish clear metrics for success—tracking usage, productivity gains, and satisfaction—and communicate impact through data, demos, and real-world stories.
- Maintain a dynamic overview of AI coding tools, pilot emerging technologies, and collaborate with early adopters to inform platform direction.
- Stay hands-on by using AI and automation tools daily, building prototypes, and testing new workflows to guide credible, informed decisions.
- Strengthen product practice across platform teams by mentoring peers and promoting disciplined discovery, prioritization, and delivery for internal users.
What We're Looking For
You bring deep experience in technical product leadership, with a focus on developer platforms or internal tooling. You understand what it takes to earn engineers' trust and drive real adoption—not just through strategy, but through daily practice.
Success in this role requires fluency in modern development workflows, CI/CD, and the software lifecycle. You’ve shipped complex platforms used by large engineering teams and can balance technical depth with strong product judgment. Experience building or using AI coding assistants and automation tools is essential.
While prior engineering experience strengthens your profile, what matters most is your ability to empathize with developers, act decisively, and lead through influence in a fast-moving environment.
