Responsibilities
- Design user-centered interfaces for web and mobile applications
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Collaborate with product managers and developers throughout the development lifecycle
- Define and maintain design systems and UI component libraries
- Translate product requirements into intuitive user flows
- Present design concepts and iterations to stakeholders
- Gather feedback and refine designs based on user and team input
- Ensure accessibility and responsiveness across devices and platforms
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging design practices
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX/UI design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design work
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or equivalent design tools
- Experience with design systems and component-based design
- Solid understanding of user research methodologies
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Experience working with agile development teams
- Knowledge of front-end development principles is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in insurtech or financial services design
- Familiarity with accessibility standards such as WCAG
- Experience designing for B2B platforms
- Background in human-computer interaction or related field
- Previous work in fully remote, global teams
