Raft is seeking a Senior Product Designer to own and evolve our design system. You will lead its development, maintain high standards of craft, and champion its adoption to ensure a consistent and accessible user experience across our product suite.
What You'll Do
- Lead the evolution of the design system by researching and driving improvements.
- Support the needs of fellow designers and the internal front-end engineering team.
- Maintain a high standard of craft, creating accessible and visually stunning solutions suitable for a B2B environment.
- Work on component libraries, including semantic tokens, scalable components, and clear specifications.
- Drive consistency by overseeing global patterns and layouts across our product suite.
- Advocate for the design system by educating internal teams on its benefits and proper use.
- Help shape our design culture through collaboration, mentorship, and a focus on shipping great work.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience working on B2B SaaS platforms, especially those with high data density and complex visual hierarchy.
- Prior experience creating and maintaining design systems, with deep knowledge of tokens and components.
- A solid understanding of how design systems are developed and a readiness to collaborate closely with engineers.
- A strong focus on craft and a drive to raise the bar for design quality.
- Deep expertise in design systems and visual design, balanced with an understanding of the bigger product picture.
- Willingness to jump into end-to-end feature design when needed, making decisions with context in mind.
- Clear and confident communication skills, especially when collaborating with engineers or presenting to stakeholders.
- A self-starter who enjoys working independently, taking initiative, and owning their work.
- A desire to join a team that balances high standards with low ego.

You’ll be joining a small but mighty team that is part of the broader Raft product and design organization. We are a supportive and truly diverse group, currently 9 people from 7 different countries with a female-to-male ratio of 5:4.
