About the Role
This role involves driving the design vision for digital products, collaborating closely with product managers and engineers to deliver seamless user experiences grounded in research and usability principles.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design processes from concept to implementation
- Conduct user research to inform product decisions
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle
- Advocate for user needs in strategic discussions
- Translate complex problems into simple, elegant design solutions
- Maintain and evolve the design system
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and leadership
- Gather and incorporate feedback from users and team members
- Ensure accessibility and usability standards are met
- Drive design sprints and workshops
- Partner with engineering to ensure accurate implementation
- Monitor product performance and iterate based on data
- Mentor junior designers and support team growth
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
- Experience leading design projects independently
- Track record of shipping consumer-facing products
