Lead the architecture and design of high-speed interface and mixed-signal circuits in deep submicron CMOS processes, with responsibility for simulation, verification, silicon bring-up, and cross-functional collaboration to advance cutting-edge semiconductor technologies.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and execution of mixed-signal design initiatives as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Develop high-speed I/O circuits and high-frequency phase-locked loops (PLLs)
- Perform design, simulation, and verification of mixed-signal integrated circuits
- Guide mask design engineers and provide technical mentorship in floorplanning and physical layout
- Support laboratory-based characterization and testing of silicon prototypes
- Address design challenges specific to advanced deep submicron CMOS technologies
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust circuit solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in CMOS analog and mixed-signal circuit design
- Proficiency with Cadence custom design tools, circuit simulators, and timing analysis tools
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring junior designers
- Extensive background in PLL and high-speed I/O interface design
- Solid understanding of deep submicron CMOS process characteristics and associated design constraints
- Proven track record in silicon bring-up, debugging, and use of lab equipment
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Verilog, Matlab, and Nanotime is advantageous
