Black Crow AI is looking for a Senior Full Stack MERN Developer to work directly with the hands-on CTO. You will take an existing MVP and evolve it into a scalable, production-ready SaaS platform, focusing on improving architecture and enforcing clean code practices.
What You'll Do
- Take ownership of an existing MERN MVP and evolve it into a scalable, production-ready product.
- Refactor and improve messy or inefficient code for clarity, maintainability, and performance.
- Debug and resolve complex cross-layer issues quickly across MongoDB, Node.js, React, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Design and optimize MongoDB schemas, indexes, Atlas Search, and triggers.
- Build event-driven workflows with MongoDB triggers.
- Integrate AI/LLM services (OpenAI, AWS Comprehend, embeddings, NLP features) into production applications.
- Support and improve Twilio-based messaging and webhook integrations.
- Contribute to new product features end-to-end, from backend to frontend.
What We're Looking For
- Expert proficiency with the MERN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
- Deep MongoDB knowledge, including indexes, performance optimization, aggregation pipelines, and triggers.
- Strong backend and infrastructure skills with Node.js async/memory patterns, AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience integrating AI services into production applications.
- Excellent English communication skills (mandatory).
- Availability during U.S. West Coast working hours (PST/PDT).
- Based in Argentina or Brazil.
