Responsibilities
- Lead the evolution of the design system to support product consistency and developer efficiency
- Architect and maintain reusable UI components and frontend libraries
- Collaborate with designers to translate design tokens and patterns into code
- Ensure accessibility and responsiveness across all components
- Optimize frontend performance and bundle sizes
- Define and enforce frontend coding standards and best practices
- Support product teams in adopting design system components
- Drive documentation efforts for internal and external use
- Evaluate and integrate new frontend technologies
- Improve developer experience across the frontend platform
- Troubleshoot complex frontend issues across multiple applications
- Work closely with platform engineers to align with backend services
- Implement automated testing for UI components
- Contribute to cross-browser compatibility strategies
- Participate in code reviews and mentorship activities
- Monitor and report on design system adoption metrics
- Advocate for user-centered design principles in engineering workflows
- Ensure compliance with security and privacy standards
- Manage versioning and release cycles for component libraries
- Integrate analytics to track component usage and performance
- Support internationalization and localization requirements
- Collaborate on design tooling such as Figma plugins
- Maintain technical roadmaps for frontend platform initiatives
