Keycard Labs is hiring a Senior Front-end Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Develop intuitive interfaces and visual tools that enable users to easily understand and build trusted agent-based systems using advanced Generative UI and asynchronous workflows via plug-and-play SDKs.
  • Collaborate across teams to design clean, onboarding-focused experiences that allow developers to deploy in minutes, balancing speed for engineers with detailed analysis views for security teams.
  • Create a visual, Figma-style workspace that lets both engineers and security professionals dynamically inspect and adjust agent behavior and resource access without writing code.
  • Lead the full frontend lifecycle, including defining design systems, build processes, testing frameworks, and performance standards for all web and embedded components.
  • Foster team growth through pair programming, design critiques, and knowledge-sharing sessions while learning from specialists in systems, security, and artificial intelligence.
  • Help define and elevate engineering practices around developer experience, accessibility, and technical quality across the organization.
  • Design and implement a scalable frontend architecture using React/Next.js with TypeScript, leveraging modern features like Server Components and edge rendering for fast, reliable user experiences.
  • Build powerful, data-driven interfaces including interactive graph visualizations and drag-and-drop workflows using WebGL, Canvas, or SVC, enhanced with integrated AI through LLMs and RAG techniques.
  • Set the standard for frontend excellence by defining performance benchmarks, reliability expectations, and user experience principles using Web Vitals, end-to-end testing tools, and comprehensive telemetry.
  • Work closely with designers to establish a scalable, accessible design system and component library tailored for Generative UI and future-facing web experiences.
