Join a forward-thinking engineering team as a Senior Frontend Engineer, where you'll play a key role in crafting robust, user-centric web applications. You will lead the implementation of modern UIs using React and Next.js with the App Router, ensuring performance, accessibility, and maintainability across all frontend layers.
What You’ll Do
- Develop reusable, well-structured frontend components using React and Next.js, optimized for scalability and user experience.
- Apply CSS Modules for scoped styling and help enforce consistent visual and functional patterns throughout the codebase.
- Advance a living design system grounded in Atomic Design principles—building from atoms to pages with clear, reusable hierarchies.
- Document and test components in Storybook to support isolated development and visual validation.
- Translate Figma designs into precise, responsive implementations, aligning with design tokens, spacing systems, and variant logic.
- Partner with design, product, and backend teams to define architectural boundaries, composition strategies, and long-term frontend vision.
- Conduct code reviews, enhance linting rules with ESLint, and optimize build performance using Turbopack.
- Implement internationalization through next-intl or similar tools to support multilingual user experiences.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience with React and Next.js, particularly the App Router approach.
- Strong command of component-scoped styling using CSS Modules.
- Hands-on background in design systems, especially those structured around Atomic Design.
- Proficiency with Storybook, Figma, and modern tooling like ESLint and Turbopack.
- Experience integrating i18n solutions such as next-intl in production applications.
- Availability to join early-morning syncs with European colleagues before 9am Pacific time.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with accessible UI libraries like React Aria, Base UI, or Radix UI.
- Advanced Figma skills, including inspecting design specs and mapping them accurately to code.
- Deep conceptual understanding of Atomic Design and its application in large-scale systems.
