About the Role
This role is responsible for driving financial insights across the organization by developing forecasts, managing budgets, and analyzing business performance to guide leadership in operational and strategic planning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models to support long-term planning and executive decision-making
- Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes across departments
- Analyze actual financial performance against forecasts and provide detailed variance explanations
- Collaborate with department leaders to understand drivers of revenue and expenses
- Produce regular financial reports for senior management and stakeholders
- Identify financial trends and provide forward-looking insights
- Support strategic initiatives with data-driven analysis and scenario planning
- Monitor key performance metrics and financial health indicators
- Improve financial processes and systems for greater efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure consistency and integrity of financial data across reporting platforms
- Partner with accounting to reconcile planning data with actuals
- Assist in headcount planning and cost management across teams
- Evaluate the financial impact of new business opportunities
- Prepare presentations for executive leadership and board meetings
- Maintain documentation for financial models and assumptions
- Streamline reporting workflows using automation tools
- Provide ad hoc analysis for special projects and leadership requests
- Contribute to process improvements in financial planning systems
- Work cross-functionally to align financial goals with operational plans
- Support audit and compliance-related financial inquiries
