About the Role
This role involves leading financial analysis to support executive decision-making, developing forecasts, and building models that inform long-term planning and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of financial models to support strategic initiatives
- Collaborate with department leaders to create annual budgets and forecasts
- Analyze financial performance against projections and identify key drivers
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations on financial metrics
- Evaluate the financial impact of new business opportunities
- Support long-range planning with scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure financial stability
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend efficiency improvements
- Assist in the preparation of board-level financial documentation
- Track key performance indicators across business units
- Improve financial processes through automation and system enhancements
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting
- Partner with accounting to reconcile financial data
- Provide financial guidance during mergers, acquisitions, or investments
- Translate complex financial data into actionable business insights
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in finance or MBA
- CPA or CFA certification
- Experience in defense, aerospace, or government contracting sectors
- Familiarity with FP&A software such as Anaplan or Adaptive Insights
- Background in cybersecurity or advanced technology industries
