About the Role
This role is responsible for overseeing equipment design, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment to support high-performance systems and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of new manufacturing equipment

- Provide technical guidance during equipment installation and commissioning
- Monitor equipment performance using key metrics

- Prepare technical documentation and standard operating procedures
- Coordinate with vendors for equipment service and upgrades
- Lead equipment-related risk assessments
- Support capital projects from concept through execution
- Train operations and maintenance staff on equipment use
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
- Optimize spare parts inventory for critical systems
- Manage downtime reduction initiatives
- Implement predictive and preventive maintenance strategies
- Utilize engineering software for system modeling and simulation
- Work with suppliers to resolve design or performance issues
