Requirements
- Knowledge of operational telecoms networks and architectures including legacy and modern data transmission and networking technologies, wireless and mobile.
- Knowledge of the NIS regulations and the wider regulatory framework.
- Experience in asset management within a utility environment.
- Knowledge and experience of operational reporting to balance the workbook, financially and across the programme load
- General commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer service, efficient network design ensuring maximum return on investment.
- Track record of effective stakeholder and customer service engagement and management.
- Ability to communicate and present information effectively at all levels
- Ability to manage competing priorities using sound engineering and financial judgement to determine optimal solutions
- Qualified to HNC/Degree or equivalent in Electrical or Telecoms Engineering or suitable experience in an engineering role.
- Experience ideally gained through technical, development, operations or network management roles.
