Responsibilities
- Carry out research using both unclassified and classified sources to analyze system characteristics and performance
- Apply foundational physics and engineering principles to create mathematical models for predicting system behavior
- Build and refine parametric models to represent system dynamics
- Run simulated engagements involving naval platforms and adversarial systems
- Conduct Monte Carlo analyses to evaluate system performance under uncertainty
- Verify and validate system models through rigorous analytical methods
- Record and report outcomes from simulation exercises
