As a Senior DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping and maintaining a resilient, high-performance cloud environment. You'll work directly with development teams to build and refine infrastructure solutions, focusing on scalability, security, and uptime across distributed systems.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with engineers to design and implement reliable infrastructure and microservices architectures
- Own the configuration and optimization of Kubernetes clusters, including node management, autoscaling, and version upgrades
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and streamline deployment pipelines
- Monitor system performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and related tools, responding to alerts as part of an on-call rotation
- Support developers by reviewing system designs, improving tooling, and troubleshooting production issues
- Enhance security through pod configurations, network policies, role-based access, and resource constraints
- Develop internal components for logging, authentication, or observability when needed
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years managing Kubernetes in production, including cluster operations and 24/7 support
- Proven experience with public cloud platforms—especially GCP—with strong knowledge of infrastructure as code and managed services
- Proficiency in Python or Go for building automation tools and internal services
- Hands-on work with container security, resource tuning, and autoscaling (HPA/VPA)
- Experience configuring monitoring stacks with Prometheus and Grafana
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, Docker, and configuration management tools
- Ability to write reusable, modular Terraform code for complex environments
