Autodesk Inc. is hiring a Senior Commissions Analyst

Autodesk de Costa Rica, S.R.L. is looking for a Senior Commissions Analyst to serve as a sales commission expert and primary point of contact for all commission-related inquiries. You will be responsible for accurate compensation calculations, insightful analysis, and driving process improvements in collaboration with global finance and sales teams.

What You'll Do

  • Understand and implement the Autodesk Sales Compensation Plan.
  • Calculate, validate, and pay variable earnings accurately and on time for assigned sales teams.
  • Provide input into and support changes to the commissions system.
  • Deliver thorough monthly analysis of attainment and investigate variances.
  • Provide high-quality, timely responses to the sales field and sales management.
  • Lead the creation of crediting rules and sales rep master Territory Target Sheets (TTS).
  • Understand and post required manual attainment or adjustments.
  • Maintain and improve commission tools with reference data.
  • Drive process improvements and automation within the team and with other departments.
  • Participate in and may lead User Acceptance Testing and other projects.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or equivalent experience.
  • 5 or more years of progressive finance experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skill.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility for infrequent meetings with team members in different Geos.
  • Customer service orientation and willingness to help resolve commissions issues.
  • Flexibility, an open mind, and a strong willingness to learn.
  • Ability to consider consequences of work and apply judgement consistently.
  • Works autonomously but provides guidance to other team members as needed.

Nice to Have

  • Mid-to-large public company experience, preferably with sales commission understanding.
  • Experience with Business Objects, PowerBi, Cognos/Varicent or other commissions platforms.
