Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy backend functionality within a Django-based monolith, supporting both current adoption and recommendation systems as well as new initiatives aligned with the team's objectives.
- Enhance system efficiency and stability by refining database queries, APIs, and caching mechanisms in key user pathways.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and frontend developers to build intuitive, scalable user experiences.
- Engage in technical planning and decision-making, aligning immediate deliverables with long-term system architecture goals.
- Maintain high engineering standards through rigorous code reviews, comprehensive testing, and a focus on system observability and performance.
